THE CERTIFICATE II IN SPOKEN AND WRITTEN ENGLISH IS A COURSE DESIGNED FOR LEARNERS WHO HAVE A BASIC LEVEL OF ABILITY IN ENGLISH AND/OR WHO HAVE UNDERTAKEN SOME PREVIOUS ENGLISH STUDY. IT FURTHER DEVELOPS LEARNERS’ GENERAL LANGUAGE SKILLS WITH THE AIM OF ENABLING THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN MORE COMPLEX SOCIAL AND COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES IN AN ENGLISH-SPEAKING SOCIETY.
